Hi, I'm emelia!
I graduated from Saint Michael's College in Burlington, VT, with a
BA in Environmental Studies and Studio Art & Design. My college days were filled with late, snowy nights in the Art building, early wake-up calls to work at the campus art gallery, and skiing as much as humanly possible. My concentration within the environmental department was in sustainability and justice, which was the inspiration for my senior art show, 'Cities.'
Today, I take inspiration and knowledge from both disciplines to create brand identities and marketing materials for clients whose mission is to encourage people to make sustainable lifestyle choices around community, health, and business practices. My approach to the design process involves creative problem-solving, ensuring collaboration whenever possible, and understanding the 'why' and how it can be translated into design choices.
